better internet connection at home

Almost 2 days without Internet connection at all. Enough to make hubby so upset.
He picked up the phone and made the call to the customer service center last night.
Two repairmen came today, at 11pm. That was FAST!! (^.^)v
They came and conquer. My heroes of the day. Found the problem, and fixed it.
Changed the old modem (ugly looking thing) to the new one (small, cute, and stylish), because they finally could managed to move our connection to the nearest network (to get much faster loading+browsing time), and the old modem simply cannot keep up anymore. Time to put it to rest (thank you, dear modem, for serving us so diligently since 2006). New year, new modem.

It feels sooo GREAT now that we have the Internet connection back.
Hubby can continue his work at home, play some kids online games with Lex, and read some funny giggly stuffs (at www.kaskus.us) before going to sleep.
Me? I do all the stuffs I usually do with my laptop.
